I am Tom Scholfield, a qualified teacher (QTS) and specialist educator dedicated to supporting students who find the traditional classroom environment overwhelming.With over a decade of experience across both mainstream schools and specialist provisions, I have seen firsthand that students thrive when they are met with a mix of academic expertise and genuine emotional support.My career has taken me from leadership roles in secondary academies where I mentored staff and shaped curricula to working on the front lines of Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) and SEMH settings like New River College.My Approach
I specialise in helping students navigate school-based anxiety, social-emotional barriers, and trauma-related challenges.Whether it is 1:1 intervention or helping a student reintegrate back into a mainstream setting, my goal is the same: to build the confidence, resilience, and academic skills a student needs to reach their full potential.Why Work With Me?
